Fly

As always, I have come up with another strange story. A tragic moment triggers a really bad feeling today. One of our close relatives passed away, it was a very unnatural death. Let's not talk about how it happened, anymore. The thing I wanna share is my feeling about "consciousness in the body and disparity."

I saw the fully intact body, the only missing part was his consciousness. The body was fully intact apart from the postmortem marks. It seemed like if we push him, he's gonna wake right away... But after all, he couldn't wake, cause he was dead. Most often, when we heard about the incident like; car accident, flood, fire, bus accident, and got killed so many lives, we just count them as a number. But if we look closely, somebody lost their most precious thing in the world, which matters a lot to someone. Someone lost daddy, someone lost son, daughter, husband, wife... Those who lost their relatives only can feel the pain. It would be the most tragic moment for them. I'm sorry readers, now, the story gonna digress in a different direction.

While attending that funeral, there were three other dead bodies were piled up. I was observing them closely. I didn't think I would be disturbed later, so I watched them all the time, but later, when people burnt them, I saw them roasted in fire very similar to how we roast chicken and mutton. If there had been a chicken or goat got roasted, nobody would have felt sorry for that poor little animal. After all, the body mass composition is similar for all animals and humans; both have muscle, bone, blood, isn't it? Why everyone seemed sad and felt sorry for the human death? It doesn't mean that I didn't felt bad, of course, I did, but why this disparity for a very similar event? We felt bad about human death and celebrates those poor animals by killing them, so brutally.

Ironically, I also eat meat. But as far as I can remember, I didn't use to eat meat in my childhood, but my parents forced me to eat; they used soo many shamanism techniques to make me non-veg. And I began to eat meat when I was about 13/14 years old, I didn't remember exactly. After some years of eating meat, I became obsessed with the meat. However, I still love animals, also I can't see them getting killed, and later, I feel guilty to eat them. Sometimes I felt, I must stop eating meat, but I guess I am bad at committing pledge.

I recommend not to read the following idea to those who get disturbed easily.

This tragic aforementioned incident, trigger so bad feeling regarding feeding flesh. After all, metaphorically, if we can eat those poor animals; with the same atomic composition, why are we wasting those dead humans? Indeed we didn't have to murder them. Why we are wasting that huge amount of resources? It sounds pretty disgusting, but think wisely for a moment, I bet, it's not unjustified. If we can't eat humans, why we are neglecting such a huge crime, all in front of us? Globally, every day we kill 200 million animals, about 74 billion in a year, which means every one and a half years, we kill more animals than people have lived in the entire 200,000 years history of humanity. Luckily, animals are not the ones writing the history books, but if they were, humans would appear as rampant genocidal maniacs, that thrive on suffering.

It's pretty bad that we altering nature and playing like a god. We all have to pay for it at some point. So many animal activists are consistently trying to fight for animals right. In my previous blog, meaty diet, you can find a lot about "how healthy is meat for our planet" so I recommend you to go through that either.
